Yoga Student Bill of Rights
At FCYT we welcome all to join us for any classes being offered. Trying yoga for the first time or going to a new studio can feel intimidating. We feel it’s important for each of our students, no matter their experience level, to feel empowered during their yoga practice. To alleviate the stress of not knowing what to expect, we have created a student bill of rights: a reminder that each individual who comes through our doors will have a unique and personal experience that deserves to be honored.
You have the right to:
Be here. No matter your age, race, faith, gender, orientation, etc.

Determine if, when, and how anyone touches you.

Feel safe and loved.

Be spoken to with kindness and respect.

Practice free of judgement: yours, ours, and theirs.

Be in charge of your practice. Please step out, take a break, use the restroom or get a drink - as YOU need.

Feel whatever you are feeling, when you feel it.

Work alone.

Ask: anything, any time, of anyone.
