Ready to get started with Rose?
Rose Renaud, M.Ed., ACMHC is an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Salt Lake City who is passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, find balance, and experience a greater sense of wholeness. She believes healing begins by meeting people where they are and creating a compassionate, collaborative space for growth.
With more than 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, Rose has helped clients navigate many of life's most difficult transitions. She has supported high school students through challenges related to divorce, grief, parental incarceration, anxiety, depression, and stress. She has also helped parents adjust to the changing needs of their growing children and taught mindfulness practices to teens and adults facing life's uncertainties.
Most recently, Rose worked with active-duty military service members in a residential treatment program, supporting individuals recovering from PTSD and substance use disorders. This experience deepened her ability to walk alongside clients carrying trauma, and she welcomes veterans and military families seeking counseling in the Salt Lake City area.
Rose grew up moving every two to three years due to her father's military career, living from Vermont to Mississippi and overseas in the Philippines. These experiences gave her a deep appreciation for resilience, change, and the importance of connection. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont, her Master of Education in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah, and completed her clinical mental health counseling training at Rocky Mountain University.
Rose integrates talk therapy with mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients reduce suffering, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Her approach to anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions is grounded in the belief that lasting change happens through connection and self-compassion.
She lives in Salt Lake City and enjoys hiking, climbing, cycling, birding, and spending time with her two adult twin sons, family, friends, and her dog, Luna.
Rose is currently accepting new clients ages 12 and older on Monday and Wednesday afternoons and evenings. She sees clients in person in Salt Lake City and by telehealth throughout Utah.
