Olivia Call
CMHC-i, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Say Hello to Olivia
Olivia is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Full Circle Yoga & Therapy, seeing clients in person in Salt Lake City and by telehealth anywhere in Utah. Her work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and she weaves in mindfulness and other somatic-based work that helps clients notice what their body is holding and come back to the present moment.
She also believes deeply in the outdoors as a place where healing can happen, and uses her background in nature-based therapy settings to help inform her work in session.
Who Olivia Works With
Maybe anxiety has taken the wheel, or depression has made everything feel heavier than it should. Maybe you're tired of being at war with your own body, or something hard from the past keeps showing up in the present. Olivia works with individuals ages 13 and up, and wherever you're starting from, she'll welcome you exactly as you are.
Whether you're brand new to therapy or finding your way back to it, you don't have to figure it out alone. Olivia’s experience in residential and wilderness therapy programs means she knows the diverse challenges people face up close, and she brings that experience into her current work.
How Therapy with Olivia Feels
Olivia wants every person to leave a session feeling heard and validated. She sees therapy as a collaboration, so nobody gets handed a script. Instead, she brings real curiosity about your story and what you want your life to look like.
Her life motto is "I can do hard things," and she hopes her clients come to believe it about themselves, too.
Olivia’s Background
Olivia earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Utah State University in 2022, with a minor in yoga studies, and completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification alongside it. During her first year of college, while she was struggling with body image and other challenges, she found a free Saturday yoga class and kept going back. Slowly, she fell in love with the practice. In her words, "Yoga saved my life."
She is now finishing her master's in clinical mental health counseling at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and sees clients at Full Circle under the clinical supervision of Steve Jones, LCSW.
Before graduate school, Olivia spent years working with adolescents in residential and wilderness therapy, supporting young people facing trauma, eating disorders, depression, anxiety and substance use. She had already felt what time outside could do for healing, and watching others also find their footing is what ultimately drew her to counseling.
Outside of Therapy
Outside of session, you’ll find Olivia enjoying a variety of activities like road biking, trail running, rock climbing, hiking, teaching yoga, taking too long to pick an outfit, or alongside her film camera. She has a deep love for fashion, the red rock that runs south, baking for those she loves, and anything that has sugar in it.
