While restorative style classes can have a life-changing impact, they are often overlooked or disliked by class-goers. We will look at the reasons why these classes can be of such immense value by examining the nervous system and its states through a scientific and research-based lens that includes reasons why students shy away from these classes.
Participants will engage in a physical practice that offers alternative technical approaches while facilitating an environment where the outcome of these less physically demanding classes can be accessed more readily and deeply. Using an outline of progressive integration and brainstorming, attendees will develop ways to immediately implement workshop concepts into their own personal practice and teaching.
