Veronica Argyle is a student pursuing a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Utah. She has worked as a medical case manager and therapist for individuals living with HIV. She also works in child welfare as a project coordinator, helping large systems work to be more responsive to the individual needs of the children and families they serve.
Prior to starting her social work career, Veronica obtained a Bachelor Degree in Gender Studies from the University of Utah and spent time at Utah Valley University in their Ballroom Dance program. She loved to find ways to unite these two disciplines, like holding partner dance classes for LGBTQ+ youth.
Veronica’s focus on intersectionality, cultural responsivity, and desire to contribute to the community worked as catalysts to start her on the path to social work. She has training in Feminist Multicultural Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. She has also completed level 1 clinical training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy.
Veronica is excited to join Full Circle because she is passionate about trauma-informed therapy that recognizes the importance of mind/body connectivity in healing and finding personal growth. In her free time, Veronica enjoys spending time in the mountains, trying out all the coffee shops she can find, and curling up with a craft project while she binge-watches Doctor Who.
